There is a wide range of discounted tickets available to help you save money, or you may be eligible for a concessionary travel pass.

If you are over 60, you can get 1/3 off the price of your normal train fare with a Senior Railcard.

If you are eligible for a Disabled Persons Railcard, you can get 1/3 off train travel for you and a friend.

Some local authorities also offer additional regional concessionary travel passes.


Ask For Assistance

Passenger Assistallows you to request assistance from rail staff in advance of your train trip, providing support onboard and at the station.

You can also request assistance at Northern Rail stations via their online web form or download the Passenger Assistance App onto your smartphone.

Journey Assistance Cards – these cards can help you discreetly ask for help from onboard or station staff and are available to print at home.
